Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Program
Toyota’s program, Toyota Certified, sees 1,165 dealerships enrolled in the program, which is 95% of available dealerships. The automaker sold over 268,000 certified pre-owned vehicles in the first three quarters of 2014, which is a 5% decrease over the same time period in 2013. IntelliChoice has been analyzing manufacturer certified programs since 1999. The program received a 100% Inspection Score in 2011 and Toyota was the top Popular Brand for Used Car Ownership Costs in 2012 and 2014. Customers may extend the standard CPO warranty coverage for up to 84 months from the original in-service date of the vehicle. Roadside assistance is provided for 12 months or 12,000 miles from the date of purchase. Customers purchasing CPO vehicles are eligible for new car finance rates.
